AFI Educate courses are tailored to meet the demand for capacity building in specific financial inclusion policy topics. Available to both AFI members and the broader financial inclusion community, these courses delve into essential aspects of this dynamic policy field, offering a convenient learning experience.

2. CERTIFIED EXPERT IN FINANCIAL INCLUSION POLICY (CEFI)
The registration for the September 2024 intake of the CEFI program is now OPEN!
CEFI is a 6-month self-paced fully online course provides learners with a comprehensive overview of financial inclusion policy. By signing up, learners can get certified by a renowned business school in Europe – the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, a global policy leadership alliance that prioritizes financial inclusion policies.
CEFI offers exclusive regulatory perspectives on seven core areas of financial inclusion, a first in the world:
- Aligning the Goals of Financial Inclusion, Integrity and Stability
- Measuring Financial Inclusion
- Digital Financial Services
- Consumer Empowerment and Market Conduct
- MSME Finance
- Microcredit, Microsavings and Microinsurance
- National Financial Inclusion Strategies
At AFI, we understand the pivotal role of building capacity among diverse entities and professionals in shaping the financial inclusion landscape. CEFI has so far attracted audiences from among the regulators, financial service providers, consultants, researchers, and academicians. Their enthusiasm is driven by the recognition that effective financial inclusion relies on an enabling policy and regulatory framework. As a result, enrolling in this CEFI will greatly benefit the staff of your institution and professionals from stakeholder institutions involved in financial inclusion initiatives.
Fees and registration information:
- CEFI is open to all. The full course fee is Euro 1,550. Early Bird Fee is Euro 1,350 (if registered by 15 July). AFI members are eligible for additional discount of Euro 300 until the registration closes on 30 September 2024.
- Further group discounts are available for more participants registering from the same institution or if they are part of FS Alumni.
- Participants can register through this website and the invoice with the applicable amount will be sent by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management to the applicant.
- CEFI is 100% online, which means the course and the examination can be taken from the comfort of your home.
